Introducing our new Racketball social sessions! The Apex Programme is a squash & racketball coaching provider based in Sheffield at the prestigious Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club, founded by Neil Guirey in 2015. Our aim & vision is “to enable children & adults to access & play squash at any level".
Apex also incorporates The Nick Matthew Academy former world No. 1, who won the British Open, British Nationals 8 times and World Open of Squash three times.
We have identified the need for more structured squash programme in Sheffield at club level from grass roots through Education (schools, colleges and Universities). Our adult programme has really taken off with Apex doubling the number of weekly session.
Westbourne School would like to pass on their thanks to The Apex Group for the coaching we have received since September. Apex together with Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club has given our pupils a range of new sports to learn and they have thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity. We would like to thank the excellent, friendly coaching staff for their well structured, fun lessons.
We have worked with The Apex Programme for a few years and they have consistently proven themselves to be a club willing to support the needs of all individuals.

Our young son has been a member of the Hallamshire Squash club, the Apex squash programme and the NMA for a few years now. During this time his squash abilities and techniques have improved thanks to several coaches and their structured, varied and enjoyable sessions. At all times he has felt included and supported by the coaches, all of whom he has felt at ease with and able to ask questions and seek advice. He has also felt safe and secure whilst in the club and when attending the coaching sessions. His self-confidence and on-court conduct have also matured alongside all the technical improvements.
He has also been fortunate enough to have had support - in different guises, not just financially- from the Apex scholarship programme and be able to benefit from being around several approachable and experienced senior and junior squash players, including a former World Champion!
So from a parent’s viewpoint we have nothing but thanks, respect and positive comments to make about the junior squash development opportunities available and all those people who are closely involved. We would - and do - certainly recommend it for juniors of any age and sex.

One Health Group is delighted to partner three times World Squash Champion, Nick Matthew in the NM Apex Squash Academy. By working with Nick we’re able to play a vital role in encouraging more young players into the game through the Academy’s squash education
